The Istian River is one of the most popular spots for kayaking on Ometepe due to its wildlife and a chance to see a different side of Ometepe. Starting from Playa Mangos, you'll also enjoy a great view of the Concepcion volcano.

The tour lasts 1.5 hours and costs $20 per person for a group of 1-2 people, or $15 per person for a group of 3-6.

Playa Mangos

If you're not so interested in the river, you can enjoy the lake with a beautiful volcano view, kayaking close to Playa Mangos.

Message us on WhatsApp, and we’ll assist with your booking—the price is the same as paying on-site. You can also book directly at Playa Mangos, but this option isn’t available for early kayaking tours and isn’t recommended for sunset rentals unless you arrive early to reserve in advance.
